BelYer Hybrid Warranty Policy

1. Standard Warranty Coverage

BelYer Hybrid guarantees our hybrid battery for the entirety of the warranty period, regardless of vehicle age or mileage.

1.1 Unlimited Mileage Warranty

Our Unlimited Mileage Warranty includes battery repair or replacement for a failed battery, provided the failure is confirmed through our warranty process outlined below.

1.2 Warranty Exclusions

The BelYer Hybrid Warranty does not cover:

Any other component or part of the vehicle, whether part of the hybrid system or not.
Consequential and incidental damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of use or loss of income.
- Diagnostic fees or towing charges.
- Damage to property or rental costs.
- Transportation costs.
- Installation or removal costs by the customer or a third party.
- Personal injuries.

2. Warranty Service Request Procedure

To request warranty service, customers must email sales@belyer.com with the following information:

First and Last Name
Address of Vehicle for Service
Phone Number
Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
Current Mileage
Invoice Number
Copy of Diagnostic Report or Images of Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Upon review of the diagnostic report and confirmation of a battery failure within the warranty period, BelYer Hybrid will repair or replace the battery free of charge.

3. Warranty Limitations & Voiding Conditions

The BelYer Hybrid Warranty will be voided under the following conditions:

Vehicle Accident: Damage to the hybrid battery due to a collision.
Improper Installation: Damage resulting from incorrect installation by the customer or a third party.
Environmental Damage: Exposure to flooding, fire, or other conditions compromising the battery’s integrity.
Tampering: Removal, alteration, or damage to warranty labels.
Vehicle Storage: If the vehicle is stored for 30 days or more without operation.
Misuse or Abuse: Including modifications to the hybrid system that exceed manufacturer specifications.
Battery Depletion: If the battery is discharged below 20% State of Charge (SOC) due to:
- Running out of fuel.
- Engine malfunction.
- Regenerative system failure.
- User error.
Note: A $350 service fee will apply if the hybrid battery discharges due to engine failure.
Reinstallation in a Different Vehicle: Transferring the battery to another vehicle voids the warranty.
Presence of Certain Diagnostic Trouble Codes:
- P3190 (Poor Engine Power)
- P3191 (Engine Does Not Start)
- P3193 (Fuel Run Out)
- P0A0F (Engine Failed to Start)
- C1256 (Accumulator Low Pressure)
- C1391 (Abnormal Leak of Accumulator Pressure)
- Or equivalent manufacturer codes
Any other condition beyond the control of BelYer Hybrid.

4. BelYer Hybrid Extended Warranty Policy

4.1 Extended Warranty Overview

BelYer Hybrid is committed to supporting the longevity and reliability of your vehicle’s hybrid battery. We offer an Extended Warranty Policy to provide continued protection beyond the standard warranty period.

4.2 Eligibility

The Extended Warranty is available only if the original hybrid battery warranty is still active.
Customers must verify their existing warranty status before purchasing an extension.

4.3 Pricing for Extended Warranty

The cost of extending the hybrid battery warranty for one additional year varies based on the vehicle model and production year:

Prius (2004-2009), Prius C - $300

Prius (2010-2015), Prius V, Lexus CT200h - $400

Camry (2007-2016), Nissan Altima, Lexus ES300h - $500

Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Silverado, GMC Yukon, GMC Sierra, Cadillac Escalade - $700
